Classes at San Fernando East Secondary School can now safely resume, following completion of repair and clean-up work, following a pipeline leak on the school’s compound last week.
In a statement, Heritage Petroleum says the affected pipeline section was repaired and the area fully remediated.
It adds that independent gas and air quality tests show safety readings within acceptable limits.
All impacted materials have been removed, and equipment and personnel have been demobilised.
