St Kitts and Nevis Patriots defeated Antigua and Barbuda Falcons by six wickets, kicking off the 2025 Caribbean Premier League on a high note last night in St Kitts.
At Warner Park, the Patriots were led by an exceptional bowling performance from Waqar Salamkheil and Naseem Shah, with spinner Waqar claiming 4 wickets for 22 runs in his four-over spell.
The Falcons were bowled out for 121 in 17.1 overs, with a top score of 61 from Karima Gore.
Meanwhile, a boundary from Alick Athanaze (37*) took the Patriots to its 125/4 victory in 15 overs.
