Couva South MP Barry Padarath has condemned the Opposition for its disruptive behaviour during yesterday’s Standing Finance Committee debate.
In a strongly worded media release, Mr Padarath accused the PNM of obstruction and filibustering, claiming their actions exposed a disconnection from the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
He criticized the PNM for attempting to derail the national budget debate and for asking irrelevant questions to delay the process, highlighting incidents with Ministers Vandana Mohit and Khadijah Ameen.
Mr Padarath also accused the PNM of hypocrisy, calling them “defenders of the public purse” after years of mismanagement.
