The Ministry of Tertiary Education is exploring how Artificial Intelligence can boost skills, innovation, entrepreneurship and by extension drive national development.
Earlier this week, Minister Prakash Persad met with Sanjiv Ramcharan, Senior Lecturer at COSTAATT, to discuss using AI in vocational training to improve learning, productivity, and business development.
He emphasized that AI must be paired with digital literacy, ethics, and responsible use.
The initiative aims to prepare a new generation of skilled, future-ready professionals for a rapidly changing world.
