A man was arrested for the possession of an AR-15 rifle this morning in Pasea.
Officers found the gun loaded with a magazine and 34 rounds of ammunition.
Meanwhile, 21 suspects have been arrested during the ongoing police “Summer Slam” operation.
During the exercises, police conducted two road blocks and searched six houses in relation to firearm, robbery and narcotics related offences.
Suspects were arrested for various offences including motor vehicle larceny, malicious wounding, attempted murder, sexual touching and outstanding warrants.
