Police have arrested a 38-year-old man after recovering 50 cases of stolen cheese during an intelligence-led operation in Tacarigua.
The cheese, weighing a total of 20 kilograms, had been reported missing from a distribution company in Macoya on March 18th.
Officers from the North Central Division, including the CID and Operations Unit, conducted the search and successfully recovered all the stolen items.
Investigations into the larceny are ongoing.
