The second autopsy has been completed on six-year-old Jasher Francois.
His parents described the results as “way different” to the first conducted at the San Fernando General Hospital, with the father, Aaron Francois, adding, that his initial suspicions were “vindicated, without a shadow of a doubt.”
He said this has put him a step in the right direction, adding they have requested Jasher’s medical records from the hospital through the Freedom of Information Act.
The first autopsy was performed last week, listed the cause of death as aspiration pneumonitis, likely triggered by viral pneumonia, however it was allegedly rejected by the young child’s parents.
Last week, the Prime Minister called for a full and urgent investigation into Jasher’s death, to which the Health Minister said the investigative committee will be independent of the South West Regional Health Authority.
