The 4th suspect in a recent home invasion in Valsayn North has been held: it is a 17-year-old boy from Farm Road, St. Joseph.
He was detained during an intelligence-led operation on conducted between 9am and 2pm yesterday.
In accordance with established procedures, the suspect was cautioned under the Children’s Rules in the presence of his brother.
He was then taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex, where he was medically examined and a report obtained.
The suspect was then taken to the Maracas/St. Joseph Booking Centre, pending further enquiries.
Two suspects remain in custody: a 22-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, while a third man was fatally shot by police shortly after the incident on Monday.
