The Government will officially launch its Laptop Distribution Programme tomorrow at the Penal Secondary School.
Education Minister Dr Michael Dowlath and other Government officials are expected to attend the event.
Coined “Learning without Limits, a laptop for every child”, the initiative has been highlighted by the Government as a major step in providing students with the digital tools to enhance learning.
The laptops, promised by the Government for the nation’s secondary school students, arrived into the country yesterday.
Public Utilities Minister Barry Padarath made the announcement at TTPost headquarters in Piarco, as TSTT/bmobile was the procurement agency for the laptops.
Minister Padarath said the laptops will be given to students who began secondary school at the beginning of the 2025/26 academic year.
