Jamaica scored three unanswered second half goals to beat Trinidad and Tobago 4-1 in an international friendly on Tuesday night at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.

Jody Brown swept in the opener after 111 minutes before Nikita Gosine equalized for Trinidad and Tobago with a stunning left-footed drive.

Jamaica, however, pulled away in the second half as their superior technical ability and fitness came to the fore.

Natasha Thomas put the visitors back ahead in the 52nd minute before debutant defender Tiana Harris headed in Jamaica’s third.

Brown wrapped up the win six minutes from time with an instinctive finish to hand Jamaica a 4-1 win.

Both teams used the match to assess their team’s state of readiness for CONCACAF W Championship qualifiers next month.

Trinidad and Tobago are in Group F along with El Salvador, Honduras and Barbados.
