Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold a security cabinet meeting tomorrow, as he weighs possibility of launching an operation to take full control of Gaza.

It comes as more Palestinians were reported to have been killed in Gaza today.

A report by Al Jazeera says at least 74 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across the enclave since dawn on Monday, including 36 aid seekers.

The United Nations has also warned that 28 children are dying a day from Israeli bombardment and a lack of aid.

Despite Israel’s vow to allow more aid into Gaza, a spokesman for the UN Secretary General said the “realities on the ground remain largely the same”.

He said what is entering is insufficient for the starving population and warned that malnutrition among children “is reaching catastrophic levels”.
