Iran has rejected a United States proposal aimed at ending the ongoing war, according to state broadcaster Press TV.

Quoting a senior security official, the report says Iran will only end the conflict on its own terms.

Tehran is demanding a complete halt to attacks, guarantees against future aggression, and compensation for damages.

Officials also want international recognition of Iran’s authority over the Strait of Hormuz.

The US is reportedly continuing diplomatic efforts, but Iran has described the proposals as excessive.
