Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander says the Government will continue to build partnerships to confront evolving threats and dismantle criminal networks.
Yesterday the Minister hosted representatives from the UN’s Resident Coordinator’s Office and the UNDP for a high-level security meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters.
Discussions had a particular focus on reducing crime, strengthening national resilience, and aligning development initiatives with the Government’s national security agenda.
He noted that security is a shared responsibility and cooperating with international organizations ensures policies are effective, people centered and development oriented.
