One roof was blown off today due to high winds, as strong winds affected parts of Central Trinidad.
Chairman of the Couva-Tabaquite-Talparo Regional Corporation, Ryan Rampersad, told 103.1FM News the incident occurred along Arena Road in Freeport.
Videos circulating on social media also showed a fallen tree down in the Tabaquite area, however, no injuries were reported.
Earlier today, the Met Service issued a Yellow Level High Wind Alert until 12PM on Tuesday, warning of gusts exceeding 55km/hour, possible damage to roofs and outdoor items, and hazardous sea conditions.
