Heritage Petroleum has launched a 6-year programme that will offer new opportunities for over 140 small contractors.
Community Contractor Development will be rolled out in fenceline communities across South Trinidad, including Point Fortin, Penal, La Brea, Moruga, Siparia, Fyzabad, and Barrackpore.
Minister in the Ministry of Energy, Ernesto Kesar, commended called the initiative “a practical and inclusive approach to creating jobs and sustaining livelihoods.”
Heritage said the initiative aims to support sustainable employment, economic empowerment, and local business development, in line with the government’s focus on national growth.
