Guyana is upgrading its medical supply chain with an AI-powered system, aimed at boosting efficiency and cutting waste.
President Dr Irfaan Ali said the project, led by Ernst & Young, will modernize drug distribution, digital records, and online appointments.
According to the Guyana Chronicle, he added the first phase will go live by early 2026, with full integration expected by the end of that year.
A US$15 million investment is also being made in disease surveillance and lab upgrades.
