Minister of Land and Legal Affairs Saddam Hosein met today with representatives from CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean and The University of the West Indies to discuss strategic partnerships.
The meeting focused on advancing infrastructure, innovation, and capacity-building initiatives through collaboration between government, academia, and international development agencies.
Officials emphasized a shared commitment to sustainable solutions aimed at driving national progress and strengthening Trinidad and Tobago’s development framework.
Minister Hosein met with Mr. Bernardo Requena, CAF Director Representative; Mr. Pedro Ravelo, CAF Senior Executive; Ms. Alyssa Ali, CAF Junior Consultant; Mr. Daren Sookoo, Project Coordinator, PEU, UWI; and Mr. Navneet Boodhai, Manager, Engineering Institute, UWI.
