Former National Security Minister Gary Griffith is calling on the country to take the current geopolitical issues seriously, especially amid rising tensions between the United States and Venezuela.
In a Facebook video post today, drawing on his 17 years of experience in National Security, he emphasized who should take the lead on this issue.
Mr Griffith also outlined key steps that should be taken to prepare for a potential escalation.
Mr Griffith urged national unity, warning against further division within the country during these critical times including strengthening security strategies and international cooperation.
While expressing hope for peace, he emphasized that the country must be ready for the worst, in order to protect its citizens and the nation’s future.
