A 55-year-old dual national has been charged with firearm and ammunition offences linked to incidents from December 2023.
The suspect, who divides his time between Texas and Sangre Grande, was first flagged after a domestic dispute, leading to the discovery of a Glock 26 pistol and 110 rounds of ammunition at his Wallenville home.
After leaving Trinidad for Texas, he returned on December 1st, 2025, and was found in possession of 75 rounds of 12-gauge cartridges.
He was arrested for illegal possession of ammunition, as he did not hold a Firearm User’s Licence.
The man was scheduled to appear in court today.
