Curaçao last night advanced to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, making it the smallest nation in the world to reach the biggest football stage.
The team held Jamaica to a nil-nil draw, preventing the Reggae Boys from the automatic qualification, though Jamaica still has a chance at reaching the World Cup through another round of inter-continental games.
Over in Trinidad, T&T’s football team drew 2-all with Bermuda, showcasing a disappointing final match of their World Cup campaign.
Both teams were already knocked out of contention for the World Cup, however T&T saw this game as a farewell for Kevin Molino and goalkeeper Mavin Phillip, but the send-off fell flat.
