The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service began the week with its Annual Interfaith Service at Queen’s Hall.
Speaking under the theme “Attitude of Gratitude,” Junior Benjamin urged officers to remain thankful and committed to service.
Meanwhile, Commissioner Allister Guevarro also reminded officers of the critical role police play in society.
“When I was about five or six years old, my neighbor was killed in a homicide, and the very first cry I heard from the neighbors was, ‘Oh God, call the police,'” he said.
“So you see where the police stands in alignment with societal norms. After God, they look to the police. They look to you.”
