Miguel Uribe, the Colombian Senator and presidential hopeful candidate, who was shot on June 7th, has died.
The death was confirmed by his wife on social media, paying tribute to “the love of my life”.
Mr Uribe was hit by three bullets, two of them in the head and one in the leg , at a campaign rally in Bogotá.
A teenager was arrested on suspicion of carrying out the shooting, but the motive behind the attack is still unclear.
