The coldest night of the year was recorded on Sunday with temperatures recorded at 19 degrees Celsius.
The Trinidad and Tobago Weather Center reported that a very dry airmass moved over the weekend, dropping temperatures across most of Trinidad below 20 degrees for three nights in a row.
The temperature at Mt El Tucuche was reported to be between 15.4 to 16.2 degrees.
The T&T Weather Center stated that moisture is set to creep across the country this week, with minimum low temperatures climbing back up over 22 degrees.
