A major fund-raising concert for Hurricane Melissa relief in Jamaica will be held tomorrow at the Divali Nagar in Chaguanas.
Organised under the theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The World is One Family,” the event brings together five Trinidad and Jamaica-based organisations, including SEWA-TT, NCIC and Prema Satsangh Jamaica.
It will feature top East Indian singers, dancers, and musicians performing free of charge.
Trinidad-born, Jamaica-based philanthropist Ravi Rambarran spearheaded the initiative, calling it a show of Caribbean solidarity and compassion.
He said everyone is focused on one thing – helping Jamaica rebuild.
Donations can also be made online through the WiPay platform to support recovery and rebuilding efforts.
