Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has thanked leaders and delegations for the successful hosting of the 50th CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting.
The meeting was held last week in St Kitts and Nevis, with Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar delivering an address.
“I first express sincere gratitude to my fellow Heads of Government and their distinguished delegations for their presence, partnership, and steadfast commitment to advancing the mission of the Caribbean Community,” Dr Drew stated in a Facebook post.
He also gave special praise was given to Secretary-General Carla Barnett and the CARICOM Secretariat for their leadership, and to Special Guests and partners for strengthening regional ties.
Appreciation was extended to Dr. Denzil Douglas, the Nevis Island Administration, security services, the organizing committee led by Dr. Marcus Natta, hotel partners, and the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The event highlighted unity, professionalism, and the power of small states in the Caribbean.
