The Tobago People’s Party has officially named 13 candidates for the upcoming Tobago House of Assembly elections.
Political Leader Farley Augustine made the announcement during a Facebook Live on Monday night.
Among the confirmed nominees are Niketa Percy for Bon Accord/Crown Point, Wane Clarke for Lambeau/Lowlands, Nigel Taitt for Signal Hill/Patience Hill, and Augustine himself for Parlatuvier/Speyside/L’Anse Fourmi.
Two districts — Mason Hall/Moriah and Buccoo/Mt Pleasant — remain undecided.
Augustine says six nominees were screened on Monday, with the process continuing today as the party works to finalise its full slate ahead of the polls.
