Amazon and Microsoft are set to invest a combined $52.5 billion in India over the coming years.
BBC News reported that Amazon plans to spend $35 billion by 2030 on AI, cloud infrastructure, and job creation, building on $40 billion already invested.
Microsoft will add a further $17.5 billion to boost India’s AI ecosystem, following a $3 billion investment earlier this year.
In a post via X, Prime Minister Modi said “When it comes to AI, the world is optimistic about India.”
