Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar has received a donation of over $200,000 from the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago in support of the Children’s Life Fund.
In a media release, the Prime Minister expressed sincere gratitude, and noted that the Fund plays a vital role in safeguarding the health and future of the nation’s children.
Mrs Persad-Bissessar said her government is committed to investing in the well-being of the nation’s children and also noted that caring for children remains a central pillar of their policies.
The Children’s Life Fund has saved hundreds of lives by providing lifesaving medical interventions and giving children the opportunity to grow, thrive, and enjoy life to the fullest.
