Acting President Wade Mark will appoint the new Chief Justice of Trinidad and Tobago at 2PM today.
The appointment will be made in line with Section 102 of the Constitution, which requires consultation with the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
This follows the announcement of Ivor Archie, who retired effective October 22, 2025, creating a vacancy in the position.
