Four political parties and a total of 42 candidates will contest the THA elections.
The PNM and Tobago People’s Party have fielded 15 candidates each, while the Innovative Democratic Alliance has 11, and Unity of the People has one candidate.
The EBC says the Nomination Day proceeded smoothly, following all electoral procedures.
The elections have been set for January 12th, 2026.
