Four men have been held in connection with a robbery in Point Fortin.
Around 10am yesterday, a 52-year-old woman and 59-year-old man were conducting business in the vicinity of Dunlop Roundabout, when two suspects approached them.
One was armed with a gun and together, they robbed the couple of cash and a cellphone, before escaping in a gold Nissan Almera.
That vehicle was later intercepted in the vicinity of Guapo Roundabout, with the four men held.
The suspects are:
• A 25-year-old man, of Morvant
• A 21-year-old man of Oropouche
• A 22-year-old man, of Aripero
• A 21-year-old man of St Barbs
Charges are expected to be laid in due course.
