Thirty-four artistes will compete this Friday in the Chutney Soca Monarch Semi-Finals in Port of Spain, which is being held for the first time in the capital.
The show will take place at the Flava Village in the Queen’s Park Savannah from 7pm, with performers battling for spots in the Grand Final on February 8th at Skinner Park, San Fernando.
Machel Montano will defend his 2025 title at the Finals, where the Queen of Chutney Soca and Traditional Chutney Monarch will also be decided.
