200 volunteers have officially graduated today from the 2025 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) programme.
The ceremony marked the completion of training in critical emergency response skills, empowering them to lead efforts in their communities during times of crisis.
Local Government Minister Khadijah Ameen praised the graduates for their leadership and service, noting their role in strengthening communities when disaster strikes.
The ceremony, held at the Naparima Bowl in San Fernando, highlighted the country’s push for enhanced disaster preparedness.
