Works Minister Jearlean John says the Ministry has a national focus to fixing potholes and upgrading road infrastructure across the country.
In a Newsday report, she described the roads across Trinidad as a “mess” and emphasized that no area receives special treatment regarding pothole repairs.
She added that the potholes did not appear after ten years but reassured work is ongoing to address issues along highways and within communities.
Her comments follow criticism from Minister Phillip Alexander over complaints from Westmoorings North residents.
