Police are searching for a 40-year-old man who allegedly set his ex-girlfriend on fire.
Shortly before 2am on Sunday, the suspect forced his way into the victim’s San Fernando home.
According to the TTPS, he doused the woman with the contents of a puncheon bottle and lit her on fire during a struggle.
The victim ran into her bedroom where the suspect followed and extinguished the flames.
He then escaped on foot.
103.1FM News understands the victim sustained second degree burns to her face, neck, and chest.
