The West Indies today ended Zimbabwe’s unbeaten run at the 2026 T20 World Cup, picking up a commanding 107 run win in their Super 8 match.
Player of the Match Shimron Hetmyer hit 85 off 34 balls as the Windies registered an imposing 254/6 in their 20 overs.
There were also contributions of 59 from Rovman Powell and 31 from Sherfane Rutherford.
Gudakesh Motie then grabbed 4/26, and Akeal Hosein took 3/26 as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 147 in 17.4 overs.
The West Indies will play South Africa next – that match will take place on Thursday.
It will be followed by a highly anticipated showdown against India on Sunday.
