WASA says the transmission main leak along the Beetham Gardens that emerged this weekend should be fully dealt with by 8am today.
The leak caused major water supply interruptions to area such as Morvant, Laventille, Barataria, and areas of Port of Spain.
WASA says its crews isolated and dewatered the affected main and temporarily put the affected El Socorro High Lift Station out of operation.
The Authority expects partial restoration of operations at reduced capacity by 6am, and a full return to normal production by 8am today.
