Keshorn Walcott and Leah Bertrand were the standout winners at the T&T Olympic Committee’s Awards, last evening.
Walcott was named Senior Sportsman of the Year after capturing his first World Athletics Championships gold in javelin.
Meanwhile, Bertrand took home the Senior Sportswoman of the Year award for her performances at both the NCAA Championships and the World Athletics Championships.
The night also saw several other athletes, including cyclist Makaira Wallace and sprinters Jaden Marchand and Jereem Richards recognized for their achievements.
