One suspect was killed and two others detained following a home invasion in Valsayn North.
According to the TTPS, one of those held is a 14-year-old boy.
The incident occurred around 1pm yesterday at a residence along Valsayn Avenue, with four male suspects scaling a perimeter wall and entering a home for the aged.
The suspects fled after an alarm was raised.
The TTPS says the teenager and a 22-year-old man were held during a search of the surrounding areas.
The third suspect was shot dead after allegedly engaging with officers at Farm Road Extension in Curepe.
The TTPS says he was armed and is yet to be identified.
The fourth suspect remains at large.
