The University of the West Indies’ Faculty of Food and Agriculture showcased its regional leadership at the 19th Caribbean Week of Agriculture in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The UWI St. Augustine delegation led four key sessions on transforming Caribbean food systems — exploring innovation, agritourism, education, and sustainable fisheries.

Dean Professor Mark Wuddivira and his team emphasized modernizing agricultural extension, boosting climate resilience, and investing in research and entrepreneurship.

The faculty also announced plans for the *Food and Nutrition Security and Sustainable Tourism Conference and Caribbean Beach Food Festival* to be held in Trinidad and Tobago next April.

UWI continues to position itself as a regional hub for advancing agricultural innovation and building a resilient, food-secure Caribbean.
