US War Secretary Pete Hegseth will meet with the President of the Dominican Republic today, for high-level security talks.
The announcement on the Department’s website said Hegseth will meet with President Luis Abinader, Defense and other top Government officials.
Discussions will be held on strengthening defense relationships to ensure stability and security across the Americas.
This comes as the US continues to tighten its defense in the region.
