A US warship and two US Coast Guard vessels are in the Bay of Port-au-Prince in Haiti.
They arrived yesterday on the orders of War Secretary Pete Hegseth and according to US Southern Command, their presence “reflects the United States’ unwavering commitment to Haiti’s security, stability, and brighter future.”
The vessels currently in the bay are: USS Stockdale (DDG 106), USCGC Stone (WMSL 758) and USCGC Diligence (WMEC 616).
