Arrangements have been made for the Bureau of Standard’s Tyre Inspection Unit to continue operating at the VMCOTT South facility.
According to the Transport Ministry, this will guarantee that motorists retain access to convenient and reliable tyre inspection services, which are vital for road safety and regulatory compliance.
The Unit was set to be closed down today, August 29th.
According to reports, the Bureau owed VMCOTT a year’s rent, leading to a decision for the discontinuation of operations at the station.
