Two Trinidadians arrested in BVI drug bust

Two Trinidadian men are among six individuals arrested and charged, after a multi-agency operation narcotics seizure, in the British Virgin Islands.

According to an official release, officers intercepted the vessel and recovered 772.4 kilograms of cocaine, following intelligence about suspicious maritime activity.

The other suspects, from the Dominican Republic and St. Kitts, who were all arrested on the scene, remain in custody and are expected to appear before the Magistrate’s Court in the BVI.
