The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is strengthening its community-based crime prevention efforts through a renewed partnership with the Spiritual Baptist community.
Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro met with representatives of the National Congress of Incorporated Spiritual Baptist Organisations on Wednesday to reaffirm their commitment to national safety.
A key outcome is the establishment of a joint Working Council to coordinate crime prevention initiatives across all ten police divisions.
The partnership will also continue community outreach activities, including prayer services and missions, aimed at promoting rehabilitation, unity, and positive change.
Commissioner Guevarro is urging all stakeholders to get involved, stressing that crime prevention is a shared responsibility.
