The TTPS says it is fully prepared to ensure the safety and security of all patrons attending the CPL’s games at the Brian Lara stadium.
ACP Wayne Mystar says police are prepared for a range of scenarios from crowd management to traffic control, given the current national security climate, and potential risks associated with major events.
The venue will be open to patrons up to three hours before the start of the match, and free parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis on the northern side of the stadium.
ACP Mystar noted some of the traffic restrictions around the venue.
The senior officer also listed the items that patrons will not be allowed to take into the stadium.
Five CPL games are being played at the Brian Lara stadium, starting tomorrow night, with TKR versus the Falcons from 7pm.
