The T&T Manufacturers’ Association has held talks with officials from the United States Department of Agriculture on expanding agricultural and manufacturing trade.
TTMA President Dale Parson and Vice President Barry Fakoory met with representatives from the USDA’s Caribbean Basin Agricultural Trade Office yesterday.
Discussions centered on sourcing raw materials, exporting finished products, and participation in US food and beverage trade shows.
The TTMA said the talks highlighted local manufacturing strength and could open new markets for local manufacturers.
