YTEPP MOU with TTMA 2025

The Trinidad and Tobago Manufacturers’ Association and YTEPP signed a major agreement to help young people and retrenched workers enter the workforce in Chaguanas yesterday.

The Memorandum of Cooperation focuses on technical training, entrepreneurial skills, and real job opportunities, aiming to bridge the gap between education and employment.

Both organizations say this partnership will strengthen the national economy by preparing youth for meaningful, sustainable careers.

In addition, it would ensure that Trinidad and Tobago’s workforce is skilled, resilient, and ready to drive growth.

YTEPP’s Chairman, Dr. Maurice Jones said that the MOC is a national development intervention that signals a commitment to work together towards the common goal; the advancement of our national economy by the continual development of the workforce.

TTMA’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Mahindra Ramdeen, said that the TTMA recognizes that the manufacturing sector and the wider business community can only grow as resilient as the people who power it.

He added that the partnership with YTEPP signals our collective commitment to nurturing that talent, empowering our young people, and preparing them for meaningful and sustainable employment to advance workforce development across the manufacturing and related sectors.
