The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) has paid tribute to Azaad Mohammed-Khan, remembering him as a devoted servant of education and football whose impact was felt most strongly at the grassroots level.
A respected educator at Malick Secondary School, Mohammed-Khan served as teacher, dean and vice-principal, where he helped shape the character and discipline of generations of students.
In football, he was widely admired for his steady leadership and commitment to youth development, holding roles including General Secretary of the Secondary Schools Football League, TTFA manager, CEO of San Juan Jabloteh and co-founder of the GUADIY Football League.
TTFA President Kieron Edwards described him as “patient, wise and deeply committed to helping young people,” noting that his contribution spanned decades.
A past student of St Mary’s College and a UWI graduate, Mohammed-Khan was known for humility, fairness and quiet dedication.
His legacy lives on in the lives he guided and the institutions he helped strengthen.
