The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board has formally rededicated the National Cricket Center in Balmain, Couva, as the official Home of the Red Force.

To commemorate the milestone, the TTCB unveiled a striking installing featuring the current T&T Red Force team, interwoven with images of past greats, including former captain Daren Ganga.

The picture now adorns the facility’s perimeter wall and is clearly visible from the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway.

TTCB President Azim Bassarath described the initiative as a defining moment for local cricket.

This facility has long been the center of cricketing activity, and from today it takes on an even greater need. Today, we proudly declare this space as the home of the Red Force,” he said.

Bassarath noted the Red Force legacy extends beyond results, highlighting Trinidad and Tobago’s longstanding dominance in regional cricket and its production of elite players.

“As the game continues to evolve, it is more important than ever that we strengthen our identity, reconnect with our roots and create an environment that inspires both our current players and the next generation,” he said.

Red Force captain Joshua Da Silva echoed those sentiments, pointing to the balance between honoring tradition and building for the future.

“Having a place like this, something that we can truly call our home, gives us that extra motivation. Every time we come here, we know what it represents.”

Team head coach Rayad Emrit welcomed the move calling it, “a clear statement of identity, standards and direction,” as the team looks to build a future worthy of its storied past.
